The bus was heading towards Choutuppal when the car’s sudden manoeuvre forced driver Pratap Reddy to swerve left. The bus then hit a car that was being refuelled, pushed another vehicle and damaged the petrol pump’s dispensers.
A nearby truck parked irregularly also contributed to a blind spot at the location, according to the account of the incident. TGSRTC blamed the car’s indisciplined driving and the truck’s parking for the crash.
